Laminated red beech shells, hand-glued and sanded, multi-laquered on the inside, provide a clear, radiating sound. Stained and varnished on the outside or provided with mahogany decor. Other colours and types of varnish: additional charge. The perfectly round counterhoops are made of multiply glued laminated beech and agreeable to the touch. User friendly tensioning screws and fittings connect them to the shell.
For the tensioning screws you can choose wing screws or interior hexagon screws (Allen screws)
All bass drums are provided with an adjustable cymbal holder.
Thanks to the rubber mounting-pieces for Kolberg stands the drum rotates 360° inside the stand, this is a special advantage when using two different heads.

Drums of any size for use on stage can be equipped as drums with rope tension (additional charge 12 % of the basic price)

On special demand: bass drums with hand-hammered copper shell (additional charge: 35 % of the basic price)
